Restoration Event at Union Bay Natural Area!

April 25th from 1-4pm

3501 NE 1st St.,

Seattle, WA 98105

Come out and help rescue cottonwood trees from invasive ivy in the beautiful Union Bay Natural Area!

Enjoy the fresh air, exercise, and gorgeous views of Lake Washington while you make a significant difference in your environment and community.

Many of the cottonwood and willow trees in the UBNA have been suffocated by invasive English ivy. Our goal is create "life-rings" around these beautiful trees so they may survive.

Please meet at Wahkiakum Ln east entrance kiosk at 1pm (Center for Urban Horticulture)

Refreshments, gloves, and tools are provided. Please bring water bottle, boots, and appropriate clothing!

After saving some trees, we'll head over to "Big Time Brewery" to refuel.

Please contact Suzannah Cox (suzcox@yahoo.com) with any questions about this event!
