NWAEP Lunch & Learn
Waterfront Seattle Presentation and Seawall Tour
Hosted in Seattle, WA
August 14, 2015, 12-2pm
Seawall Tour: 1pm
Seattle's central waterfront is undergoing a momentous transformation that will result in a new 26-block park from Pioneer Square to Belltown. Friends of Waterfront Seattle is the nonprofit partner to the City in ensuring the project is executed according to the vision, guaranteeing that the project's benefits to our people and environment are delivered fully and well.
On August 14, Friends of Waterfront Seattle welcomes you to Waterfront Space, the project's showroom located at 1400 Western Avenue, at noon for a presentation that details the numerous environmental benefits of our transformed urban shoreline. Following the presentation, guests are welcome to take a tour of the Elliott Bay seawall construction, the foundation of our reimagined waterfront at 1pm.
