    Role Summary

    This position is responsible for leading and motivating supervisors and individuals to deliver best in class Utility Expense and Data Management

    Role Description

    • Maintain leadership standards that foster teamwork and build relationships across multiple departments.
    • Consistently seek out opportunities for process improvement
    • Promote leadership development, and act as a mentor for supervisors and team members.
    • Strive to build employee engagement and effectively lead teams through change.
    • Manage team and individual expectations up and across various levels
    • Strategic budget, staff, and succession planning
    • Promote change through project management either as an individual contributor or supporter.
    • Support and lead department and companywide initiatives.
    • Regarded as final escalation point for complex client issues.
    • Engage with supervisors for team and individual goal development.
    • Model and lead strong client service commitment philosophy.
    • Partners with Human Resources regarding staffing, evaluating performance and staff development. Other responsibilities include, timekeeping, and leave requests.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Role Competencies

    • BA degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related degree required. Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
    • Minimum 5 years of management experience with proven ability to gain team efficiency through process improvement initiatives.
    • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and workflow. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Must have strong computer skills, including intermediate level aptitude in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Internet.
    • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrates the ability voice concerns with management and executives.
    • Highly collaborative work style.
    • Must demonstrate high integrity and strong leadership principles. 

    Work Environment

    • Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs occasionally and may be required.
    • Traveling off-site to a local event occurs rarely and may be required.
    • Incumbent may be exposed to frequent noise caused by telephones, office machines, and nearby oral communications among fellow employee.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for a long period of time.
    • Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents.
    • Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper.
    • Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
    • Ability to lift and carry a stack of forms and documents weighing up to 15 pounds.
