First-Thursday Networking Mixers
5:30 - 7:00pm
First pint is FREE for members! Food provided by our wonderful sponsors!
NWAEP monthly first-Thursday networking events are an opportunity for you to meet, network, stay informed, and stay connected with environmental colleagues. The event is also a great way to connect with the NWAEP Board to contribute ideas for improvements (e.g., new events, speakers, topics, training, and activities!). Networking mixers are being held in both Portland and Seattle (see more details, below). As always, this event is free to both members and non-members, so please bring a friend. Please register on our events page so we know you are attending!
Seattle
Seattle Art Museum
1300 1st Avenue
Join us at the Seattle Art Museum at Taste Restaurant in the event room (to the right of the bar) for our First-Thursday Networking Mixer! This mixer aligns with the museum's first Thursday FREE admission event, so we will start by meeting at Taste for networking followed by self-guided tours of the museum.
Please contact Josh Jensen at jjensen@anchorqea.com with any comments or questions about the Seattle gathering.
In Seattle, we are pleased to present our sponsor, Applied Professional Services (APS), who will be providing a variety of tasty appetizers for this event. Located in North Bend, WA (and a field office in Hillsboro, OR), APS offers design and customer owned utility locating, air vacuum excavation (utility potholing) in support of SUE, Ground Penetrating Radar services, as well as locating and video inspection of storm and sewer systems. Non-conductible utilities are APS specialty, but they can certainly handle it all. Check them out at: http://www.apslocates.com/index.html

Portland
The Green Dragon
928 SE 9th Avenue
Join us at The Green Dragon Bistro and Pub to network with your fellow Portland NWAEP crew! The Green Dragon is a bar dedicated to the education and appreciation of craft beer, with 56 rotating taps and a featured brewer from local and regional breweries every Thursday. If it's a nice evening, we'll be out on the patio as space allows - if not we will be in the barrel room. Just ask at the bar if you are unsure where to find us - or email Lindsay Mico.
In Portland, we are pleased to present our sponsor, Willamette Cultural Resources Associates, Ltd., who will also be providing a variety of tasty appetizers. Based in Portland, Oregon, WillametteCRA is a full-service cultural resource management firm. Their in-depth knowledge of state and federal cultural resource requirements allows them to provide clients with a full-range of professional services in all areas of cultural resource management, prehistoric and historical archaeology, architectural history, and ethnographic research. Check them out at: http://www.willamettecra.com/
Please contact Lindsay Mico at lindsaymico@gmail.com with any comments or questions about the Portland gathering.
