NWAEP First Thursday Networking Mixers
5:30 to 7:00pm
We would like to thank our two sponsors for this month's event, NW Wind & Solar (Seattle) and Pacific Geophysics (Portland)! See more information below.
NWAEP monthly first Thursday networking events are an opportunity for you to meet, network, stay informed, and stay connected with local environmental professionals. The event is also a great way to connect with the NWAEP Board to contribute ideas for new events, speakers, topics, trainings, and other activities. Networking mixers are held in both Portland and Seattle (see more details below). As always, this event is free to both members and non-members, so please bring a friend. Please register on our events page so we know you are attending!
Seattle
Fado Irish Pub
801 1st Avenue
Join us at the downtown Fado Irish Pub Seattle for our First Thursday Networking Mixer! The Fado Irish Pub is a burgers and pints meets boxty and bangers in a classic pub setting. Check-in with the waiter as we will have a table reserved for the event. See you there!
This month's mixer sponsor is NW Wind & Solar!
NW Wind & Solar is the premier solar power installer in Puget Sound and Washington state. We’ve been part of the Puget Sound community for 40+ years, and are the partner of choice for those who want the best value for their money. Our solar projects include the Kirkland Google campus and the Bullitt Center, and the same teams install our residential projects. Customer service, the highest quality, and safety for our crews and your property are our priorities. There are a lot of places to cut corners in solar. That’s not how we work.
Please contact Josh Jensen at jjensen@anchorqea.com with any comments or questions about the Seattle event.
Portland
The Green Dragon
928 SE 9th Avenue
Join us at the Green Dragon Bistro and Pub to network with your fellow Portland NWAEP crew! The Green Dragon is a bar dedicated to the education and appreciation of craft beer, with 56 rotating taps and a featured brewer from local and regional breweries every Thursday. If it is a nice evening, we'll be out on the patio as space allows - if not we will be in the barrel room. Just ask at the bar if you are unsure where to find us.
This month's mixer sponsor is Pacific Geophysics!
Pacific Geophysics conducts near-surface geophysical surveys, including magnetic, electromagnetic, ground penetrating radar (GPR), resistivity, gravity and seismic refraction surveys. Applications of such surveys include the detection of underground storage tanks (USTs), UST pits, utilities, waste drums, unexploded ordnance, debris trenches, building foundations, the investigation of geologic structure, non-destructive concrete surveying, mapping of extents of landfills, evaluation of ground stiffness and others.
