NWAEP Board Member Jenifer Corpuz, of Ardagh Group, has organized a community service event with We Heart Seattle, a local non-profit dedicated to protecting people, parks, and Seattle's shared environment.
We hope tons of NWAEP Members (and friends!) turn out to help make Jenifer's initiative a success!
September 18, 2021 • 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Join NWAEP Board Member Jenifer Corpuz, the Ardagh Group, and We Heart Seattle for a day of service! We'll meet at Georgetown Playfield to pick up litter and help make the park a cleaner, safer place for the benefit of the local community. Time allowing, we will branch out into the surrounding streets. This is a great way to benefit a local community and the environment! This volunteer event is recommended for 14+ only. We Heart Seattle is a non-profit dedicated to protecting people, parks, and our shared environment. They provide outreach services to people in need, in addition to clean-ups. Ardagh Group is a global supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable, metal and glass packaging for brand owners around the world. Please bring gloves, wear a mask, and be prepared to social distance. Let's keep each other safe. See you there! To RSVP, visit the event listing on LinkedIn.
NWAEP continues to monitor and adhere to guidance issued by State and local health departments and the CDC, and adjust our approach to events and community service opportunities accordingly. Please note that King County Public Health Department currently recommends masks for outdoor events, busy streets, or trails, when 6 feet distance cannot be maintained. For indoor spaces, masks are required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
