In 2020, the Trump Administration revised the NEPA implementing regulations (40 CFR 1500). Since then, the US President’s Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), under Biden, has been undergoing a phased approach to scaling back many of those revisions. This topic will focus on what the CEQ includes in Phase II of their proposed rulemaking.
NAEP has compiled a panel of industry-recognized experts to walk environmental practitioners through the latest guidance. Topics will include an overview of the guidance, how to perform the requirements, lessons learned from previous projects, and a discussion on what all this means for NEPA practitioners.
