NWAEP FIRST THURSDAY NETWORKING MIXERS
Thursday, February 1, 2024
5:30 – 7:30 PM
Please join us for our "First Thursday" networking mixer in Seattle and Portland.
NWAEP monthly First Thursday networking events are a great opportunity for you to meet, network, stay informed, and stay connected with local environmental professionals. These events also provide an opportunity to connect with the NWAEP board to contribute ideas for future events, speakers, topics, trainings, and other activities.
First Thursday mixers are free and open to both NWAEP Members and non-members. NWAEP members, though, receive two 2 free drink tickets — so make sure your membership is up to date before you come!
Please RSVP to let us know you are attending.
PORTLAND
The Rogue Eastside Pub and Pilot Brewery
928 SE 9th Avenue
Please join us at the Rogue Eastside Pub and Pilot Brewery, a bar dedicated to the education and appreciation of craft beer, with 56 rotating taps and a featured brewer from local and regional breweries every Thursday. We'll either be in the barrel room or the patio, depending on weather and space. Just ask at the bar if you are unsure where to find us.
Please contact Jason Medema, NWAEP Programs Chair, with any questions or comments about the Portland event or about NWAEP events in general.
SEATTLE
Here Today Brewery & Kitchen
2815 Elliott Avenue (enter on the west/Alaskan Way side of the building)
In Seattle, join us at Here Today Brewery & Kitchen (one of the "best new cocktail bars in the country") on the Waterfront. Enjoy beer brewed on-site, natural wine, “choose your own adventure” cocktails, and typical bar food (burgers, dogs, wings, plus vegan options). This new vaporwave-themed brewpub features vintage booths and furniture from old skating rinks, and the dog-friendly patio boasts views of the sculpture park and Puget Sound. We hope you can join us for some good company and conversation!
Please contact Brian Durkin from ESA | Environmental Science Associates or Dimitri Athanasiou, NWAEP Board Member, with any questions or comments about the Seattle event.
A Note on Covid Safety:
Please keep an eye on federal, state, and local public health guidance and take precautions if community spread reaches high levels. And (as we're sure you will) stay home if you're exhibiting any symptoms, have had a positive COVID test, or have been recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID. We're in this together!
