Portland Service Event: Rake-a-Thon

  • Saturday, November 15, 2025
  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Marquam Nature Park Entrance

NWAEP Portland-area Members

Join Forest Park Conservatory for a raking volunteer event to help protect our trails through the winter!

We'll be clearing fallen leaves from the trail surface to reduce erosion and support natural water flow. Removing this moisture-trapping organic matter helps prevent trail damage during the wet and freezing months ahead. Your efforts will make a big difference in keeping the trails safe and sustainable all season long.

When: Saturday, November 15, 9am-12pm

Where: Marquam Nature Park Main Entrance, SW Marquam Street, Portland, OR  97239 (or choose another location from the sign-up page)

Who: Families welcome, recommended ages 10+

REGISTER yourself here: https://forestparkconservancy.galaxydigital.com/need/  If the slots are all taken for Marquam Nature Park, you’ll find several other meet-up locations.

Day-of, you can contact Kim Wetzel for a meet-up: 90seven-440-1five91
